Queer PHOTO - Launch: Wyndham Art Gallery

Come and view photographic work from a range of local and international LGBTQIA+ artists including Sunil Gupta work 'The New Pre-Raphaelites', all the way from London. 'The New Pre-Raphaelites' is a series of 10 works portraying individuals and families affected by Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code, which criminalised homosexuality. This law, instituted by the British in 1861 and overturned until 2018, led to the arbitrary arrest and exploitation of LGBTQIA+ Indians. This event is free but capacity is limited so bookings are essential.
